Following the New York Knicks first victory in seventeen tries, Phil Jackson decided to make a move on Tuesday morning.
Jackson signed big man Lou Amundson to a second 10-day contract. In 10 days time, the Knicks can either sign Amundson for the rest of the season or waive him.
Amundson, along with Lance Thomas, was acquired in the Jr Smith/ Iman Shumpert trade. The former Cleveland Cavalier is averaging 1.5 points and 2.1 rebounds for Cleveland and New York. He has played in 2 games, starting 1.
This is the second 10 day contract renewal given out by the franchise this week. Langston Galloway, who has been a surprise, was also extended.
