After two ten day contracts, Lance Thomas has been signed for the remainder of the season.
Thomas was acquired in the J.R. Smith deal, and has impressed the Knicks greatly, especially in his last three games. In those games he’s averaging 16 points and 5 rebounds while shooting 62%. Another trait he has that helped his cause is that he hustles for every lose ball and never gives up on plays.
Thomas was on the Thunder prior to the trade, where he was buried on the bench, receiving minimal playing time. On the season, he’s averaging 6.4 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and 1.2 APG.
