The New York Knicks came away with a big win on Saturday in Madison Square Garden, beating the Toronto Raptors 103-98. The Knicks have been playing well as of late, and that showed in this victory over this elite Eastern Conference team.
What was maybe the best part of the game however, was DeMar DeRozan’s botched 360° dunk attempt in the first quarter. You can watch the dunk below.
The number one rule for attempting difficult dunks in game is to make sure that you convert. In what would turn out to be a close game, these two points could have been pivotal for the Raptors’ chances. Head Coach Dwane Casey was not happy with his star shooting guard.
DeRozan did not have a good night scoring 13 points on 3-15 shooting from the field. This was the Raptors fifth consecutive loss.
It is possible DeRozan was playing copycat to Brooklyn Nets’ G Markel Brown who recently converted a 360° dunk against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Guess we saw who the better dunker was on that play.
