What a busy day it’s been for the New York Giants so far. Their latest addition is Dallas Cowboys return man and special teamer Dwayne Harris to a five-year, $17 million contract with $7 million of that being guaranteed.
Harris never had much of a chance to prove himself as a receiver over the years, racking up 33 receptions for 418 yards and 3 touchdowns over the course of three seasons, all with Dallas.
As a returner, he had a 24.7 yards per run average on kickoffs, and 9.2 yards per punt return.
Harris should very well be the teams special teams returner, as well as insurance for Victor Cruz if he does indeed struggle upon his return.
