What the Giants Can Take Out of the Veterans Combine

LB Dan Fox

The three-year Notre Dame starter, who was a practice squad member of the Giants last season after an impressive training camp filling in for the injured Jon Beason, performed well at the veteran combine particularly in his quickness and ball skills during individual drills.

During his senior season with the Fighting Irish, Fox recorded 95 tackles, one sack, two interceptions (returning one for a touchdown), and two pass deflections.

Fox is a talented athlete and instinctive player with a high football IQ. After a year to get comfortable with the Giants personnel and style, Fox could be a legitimate contender to make the team’s 53-man roster as it is well know that general manager Jerry Reese is still looking for additional linebacker help after he came out to specifically observe the linebacker drills during the combine.
