After adding Erek Flowers in the draft, the New York Giants offensive line appeared complete. Well, looks like that notion is quickly eliminated, due to the reports that Will Beatty could potentially be out 5-6 months with a pectoral injury suffered while lifting weights.
The extent of Beatty’s injury isn’t absolutely certain just yet, but if surgery is necessary he will be our 5-6 months. At this point, that’s looking like a strong possibility.
Beatty played in all 16 games for the Giants last season, and although he had a down year, he is a formidable tackle when healthy. He still has 3 years remaining on his contract for approximately 19 million dollars.
