On June 29th, the New York Knicks will have the opportunity to turn around the fate of their franchise.
Coming off a nightmare of a season, the Knicks have won the fourth overall selection in the 2015 NBA draft. This is their first lottery pick since 2008.
New York has had twelve lottery picks overall since the lottery’s inception in 1985, and kept seven of them. Four of the five they traded have turned out to be massive regrets. They have become Scottie Pippen, LaMarcus Aldridge, Joakim Noah, and Gordon Hayward. The fifth is Dario Saric who is yet to play an NBA game.
So, who are the seven the Knicks kept? Let’s look back at the seven Knicks lottery draft selections.
