Andrew Miller Headed To DL With Forearm Injury

Well, the worst case scenario has struck for the New York Yankees.

Having a phenomenal season, Yankees closer Andrew Miller is headed onto the 15 day disabled list due to forearm flexor strain.

Miller reportedly reported the pain immediately after the Yankees win last night, where he came in to get an out in the ninth inning. He pitched fine, but complained of pain in his left forearm, which happens to be his throwing arm as well.

Manager Joe Girardi has said he will be reevaluated in two weeks to determine when his return date will be.

Miller has been lights out this season, Converting on all 17 of his save opportunities with a  1.03 ERA.
