According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, the Milwaukee Bucks have interest in trying to acquire Brook Lopez in free agency this off season.
Lopez has a player option with the Brooklyn Nets worth $16.74 million and if Lopez decides to opt out, the Bucks are expected to be in the running to sign Lopez who has been a member of the Nets organization for his entire NBA career. B
ucks Head Coach Jason Kidd and Lopez are reportedly very close, which could entice Lopez to look into becoming a member of the Bucks.
Jason Kidd going after Billy King’s top priority this offseason is just too good.

Lopez still has to decide what to do with his player option, but if he declines his option things can get interesting. Lopez had tremendous success for the Nets last season and into the playoffs, so there is a lot of interest in Lopez on the market.
