New York Knicks forward, Quincy Acy, will not be extended a qualifying offer from the Knicks according to Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports. This will make the 25-year-old an unrestricted free agent.
Acy’s qualifying offer was worth $1.1 million and if the offer was extended he would have become a restricted free agent.
The 6’7 forward posted 5.9 points per game and 4 rebounds per game on 46% shooting from the filed and 30% from behind the arc. He appeared in 68 games, 22 of which he started, with an average of 18.9 minutes per contest.
Acy is drawing interest from the Kings, Magic, Pelicans and Nuggets.
