After playing in 41 games for the New York Knicks last season, power forward Lou Amundson has officially been re-signed to a one year contract, valued at 1.65 million dollars.
The 32 year old has been an absolute journeyman throughout his career, playing for a staggering ten teams over nine seasons. He had arguably his best season last year with the Knicks after they acquired him from the Cleveland Cavaliers, starting 35 times and putting up 6 rebounds and 6 points per game.
Amundson should be an energy player off the bench, similar to what Quincy Acy was down the stretch of last season. He probably will not have to start at all this season, barring a catastrophic scenario involving multiple players getting injured.
