The New York Giants have officially signed former Cincinnati Bengal and Baltimore Ravens safety, Jeromy Miles.
Miles played in all 16 games last season, starting in two. He finished with 28 tackles, one pass defended, and an interception.
The 27-yea-old has received limited playing time throughout his career, but has shown some promise when given the opportunity. He had just 141 snaps in his first three seasons with the Bengals, before signing with Baltimore.
The secondary coach was Steve Spagnuolo, the current Giants defensive coordinator. He’s played in 365 snaps the last two seasons, posting a very respectable +5.0 PFF rating for pass coverage.
Miles joins a suddenly crowded safety unit. Landon Collins and Nate Berhe are the expected starters, with Miles, Mykkelle Thompson, Josh Gordy, and Cooper Taylor behind them.
His contract details are currently unknown.
